Platt Lawton hosts Bring a Friend Day!

Platt Lawton is hosting a Bring a Friend day on Tuesday, June 7th from 10:30 to 12:00 p.m. Pizza will be served during lunchtime for students and their friends. There will also be a drawing for a 1 hour massage! Don't forget to bring your friends to school that day and share with them all the great new careers they can begin.

Platt College Culinary Students Participate in the Williams: International Student Awareness Day at Capitol


Monday, March 28th, Platt College, Culinary students participated in the Williams: International Student Awareness Day at the Capitol. More than 500 international students, representing 79 countries, descended on the state Capitol. The event featured free booths, entertainment and international and local cuisine. Oklahoma Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb, five honorary consul generals, and 22 vendors participated.

Seven students from Chef Patrick Morris’s Garde Manger class prepared hors d’ oeuvres for the event of “chicken roulade with julienne of veggie and citrus aioli” and mozzarella pinwheel with basil and prosciutto”.

Chef Dale Tanner, Chef Marc Cochran and Chef Renato Colmenares were on site to serve the international students and Oklahoma lawmakers.

Platt North students raised $300 for the American Heart Association


Platt North Medical Assistant students raised $300 for the American Heart Association. The students were rewarded with a special lunch at Chef's di Domani. Thanks for all of your hard work!
